Dr MGR knew well,Chennai is the bastion of DMK
with this common knowlwdge he procrastinated the Local body election whenever he came to power
But now TN is witnessing the other side of the coin
the nafarious act of DMK men has revealed rowdism in all form.
what the scene ?
knowing that they gonna win the what made the DMK to do such attrocity?
Did DMK ignited the violence and ADMK second it ?
Its all started some month back june 2006 election as usual TN election result was a flip-flop.Ppl bored of ADMK wanna change the rule of the game. DMK was the lone alternative. the ADMK pull on Vai Gopalswami made him to join the ADMK allay,of course VIP suitcase played a vital part, all ths as we knew are political politics.
the DMK election manifesto has certain aspect of developmental politics which was supported by Finance Minister Chidambaram and others too. after gaining the power the DMK amended the political theory by involving a new kinda politics, the family politics besides development and political politics.
what made the DMK to fight for local body election ?
after gaining and proving its majority DMK wanna strengthen their rule, the 13 union ministers,followed by some additions in the list after the congress demanded its share,all made suppported the visibility of the party. the significance of this local body election is the Mayor, Dy Mayor,Panchayat, Gram president arr elected by these elected representatives. its a easy winning game for DMK but as the saying go "there is no much significance in winning knowing that we gonna win" they wanna make a victory, a one man army kinda thing. the madurai byelection added the fuel to the fire.
it a fact that if DMK makes a mammoth win they will be emperors for one part of south india, politically, economically, financially ............
how the scene went ?
the TN police intelligence bureau was potent to trace the plans of DMK men to nab the election. they used the so called ruffians from prison and devised plans to loot the election march. JCP Ravi has conveyed this with ADMK VIP, eventually this neutral police officer strived hard to prove innocence to DMK, the rulers.
